Student Research Assistent (f/m)
(Code Number 13-17)

to help with C. elegans experiments such as maintenance, crossing, molecular biology, optogenetics, imaging.

Ultimate goal of the lab is to understand how a nervous system sleeps and why we need to sleep. The group is trying to understand the molecular, cellular and circuit principles of sleep. The lab uses state-of-the-art neuroscience techniques including behavioural assays, genetics, functional neural imaging and optogenetics.

The position is to be filled as soon as possible. Payment will be € 11,29 per hour for students with a bachelor degree and € 9,71 per hour without a bachelor degree. Students at any stage of education are encouraged to apply. Matriculation at a German university is required.
