The Max Planck Campus in Göttingen
What started as the site of the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in 1971 is today a campus for several research institutions. The GWDG and the Biomedical NMR Research Association (Biomed NMR) have been located here for several years, and in early 2011 the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization moved on-site as well. In total more than 1000 people now work on the Max Planck Campus.
Alongside the scientific institutions are numerous service facilities for staff and guests. The Otto Hahn Library provides a large pool of scientific literature and journals and offers desks for work or research. In our cafeteria and espresso bar you can get breakfast, lunch or a snack, whether you work here or are just visiting. Two child care facilities on campus offer their services for children aged between one and four years. Our comfortable guest accommodation also offers a home away from home for visitors to the campus.
