Pancreas cells can be stimulated to produce insulin |

Researchers at the MPI for Biophysical Chemistry have commuted progenitor pancreas cells to insulin producing cells by activating a single factor only. This finding could, in future, pave the way for new therapies in order to treat diabetes.

Otto Hahn Prize for Stefan Hell |
