Welcome back at the MPIbpc!

If you have followed the "Alumni" link on our Institutes’ website means that at some time in the past, you probably worked at the MPIbpc. We want to help you keep in touch and keep track of research at the MPIbpc. Therefore, we have begun to establish an Alumni network and you are most welcome to join.

Keep in touch

There are no membership fees. However, taking the time to register will be of benefit to you.

  • Members will receive our regular newsletter – the MPIbpc Alumni News – on a regular basis in order to keep them updated about current research, events and activities at the institute.

  • Special Alumni days with scientific lectures, embedded in a social programme, will allow you to meet colleagues, share experiences and forge ties with scientists, which may lead to new collaborations.

  • The Alumni network will help not only to maintain contact with former colleagues, but also to forge new links with current institute members, thus supporting an active exchange that will benefit all.

  • Join in the Alumni network

We welcome all former staff members of the MPIbpc who worked at the institute for more than six months to join as members, regardless of whether they worked here as scientist or technician, in the workshops, library or administration. To register for the MPIbpc Alumni network, we would ask you to download our application form and to send it back to us by Email or Fax.

In addition, we want to encourage you to also join maxNet, the alumni initiative of the Max Planck Society. Registration at maxNet would offer you further advantages. You will be able to locate former members of the institute and contact persons on the basis of common interests, same place of residence or profession. Moreover, you can easily register and update your personal data online and we can directly access your contact information.

Unfortunately, we could not contact all of the former members of the MPIbpc directly. If you are still in touch with some of the former members of the MPIbpc, please pass this information on to them, too.

We would be pleased to welcome you as new member soon.
