Nuclear Architecture

The research group focuses on the molecular principles that govern the infrastructural organization of the cell nucleus in different types of cells. In particular, we are interested in architectural elements of the nuclear interior and their structure-function relationships with other components of the cell nucleus. To this end, we are using cell and molecularbiological, biochemical, and electron microscopic methods.
