Partner Groups Abroad

Partner groups have been established in the Max Planck Society to support Junior Research Groups in countries which are interested in international cooperation to strengthen their own research. Such countries are, for example, countries in the Middle, East, and South-East of Europe and countries on the Asiatic and Southamerican Continent. Partner groups can be established if an excellent junior researcher has returned to a laboratory in his/her home country after a longer research period (e.g., Post-Doc) at a Max Planck Institute and is continuing research on a topic interesting to that institute.

The Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry is momentarily supporting six partner groups in Argentina, Slovenia and China.
