Child Care at the MPI

Child Care Facility at the MPI
Two child care facilities on the institute campus can take care of up to 30 children aged 1 to 4 years. 20 out of the 30 places are reserved for kids of institute members and are allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
For application, please get in touch with the operator of the child care facilities, the Kinderhaus Göttingen e.V. and inform the Personalbüro at the MPI about your application.
They will give you information about the availability of places and the current fees. Fees depend on the parents' income; for Mo-Fr 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., between 184 EUR and 353 EUR will be charged. In addition, you will have to pay 47 EUR per month for food.

Program during School Holidays
In addition to the KiTa the institute tries to help parents with childcare during school holidays. If there is sufficient demand the organization
