The facility operates an Affymetrix Fluidics Station 450 that washes 4 chips at a time, an Affymetrix Hybridization oven 640, a GeneChip® Scanner 3000 7 allowing the scanning of standard expression arrays, and all next-generation higher-density arrays, including SNP arrays with up to 900,000 SNPs, tiling arrays for transcription and all-exon arrays for whole-genome analysis. In addition, the facility offers a variety of commercial software packages for data analysis. The facility hybridizes and quantifies commercially available arrays.
