[more] Otto Hahn Library (OHB) Bernhard Reuse The Otto Hahn Library (OHB) at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry is a scientific library which was primarily established to supply the institute's staff with literature and information. [more] Workshop for Precision Mechanics Rainer Schürkötter In collaboration with the researchers, the precision mechanics workshop constructs special-purpose equipment and makes every effort to find optimal solution for each problem [more] Carpenter's Workshop Peter Böttcher The workshop is located in the second basement (SUG) between Tower 2 and 3 in Room 036. The Workshop offers services to all groups of the institute. Here are some examples: [more] Public Relations Office Dr. Carmen Rotte The Public Relations Office provides information for journalists and the public as well as programs for schools and visiting groups. It regularly publishes press releases, the internal newsletter MPIbpc News and the MPIbpc Alumni News. [more] MediaService (formerly Repro) Dr. Carmen Rotte The MediaService provides various printing facilities, prepares drawings and layouts, designs websites, films videos and clips, provides technical support and takes professional pictures. [more] Child Care Facilities at the MPI Two child care facilities on the institute campus can take care of children from age 1 to 4. 20 out of the 30 places are reserved for kids of institute members. The facility is run by the "Kinderhaus Göttingen e.V." [more] Kantine at the MPIbpc The Kantine and cafeteria at the MPIbpc are run by UMG Gastronomie.
