Research Interests


Single cell analysis, stimuli responsive colloidal systems, encapsulation and sustained release of synthetic and biomolecules into and/or from nano and microcarriers, cell-material interactions, optical manipulation, micro-fluidics and high- throughput imaging and screening.

Techniques Experience

Fabrication and functionalization of liposome and polyelectrolyte microcapsules, encapsulation of molecules, bioconjugation: antibody, enzyme and sythnetic polymer, protein and peptide immobilization, intracellular delivery , remote triggered release for single cell cytometry, intracellular sensors, colloidal particle characterization: dynamic light scattering, electrophoretic light scattering, confocal laser scanning microscopy, immunostaning, mammalian cell culture and transfection and routine molecular biology techniques.
