By Car
Leave the A7 autobahn (Hanover-Kassel) at the exit Göttingen-Nord and follow the directions for Braunlage (B27). About 1,5 km after the first traffic lights (Wine Depot and Chinese Restaurant on the right) turn left heading for Nikolausberg. The third junction on the left is the entrance to the Institute.

By Train
On arrival at Göttingen Station, take a taxi (10 min) to the Institute. Alternatively, take the bus (25 min; take no. 8 or 13 to the City, then change at the second, third or fourth stop to the no. 5 heading for Nikolausberg) and get off at the Faßberg stop.
By Plane
From Frankfurt am Main Airport: a) take a train directly to Göttingen departing very two hours from Frankfurt Main Airport "Fernbahnhof" or b) take a train to Frankfurt Central Station (Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof). Regular trains for Göttingen depart from the station twice an hour (journey time approximately 1 3/4 hours). The same journey by car will take about 2-3 hours.
From Hannover Airport, take a suburban train (S-Bahn No. 5), alternatively a bus or a taxi to Hannover Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), traveling time about 20 minuntes, and then take a train to Göttingen (35 minutes). The same journey by car will take about 1,5 hours.

The Departement for Theoretical and Computational Biophysics is located in Tower 6 (T6), the last building on the campus.
You find us on the first floor, called Eingangsgeschoss (EG), right above the "Gesellschaft für wissenschaftliche Datenverarbeitung GWDG".
