Nine scientific facilities on the Max Planck Campus support the scientists in their laboratories and everyday office routine. They provide all researchers at the institute with the best analytical and measurement methods and help with sample preparation, data acquisition, and data analysis. The EU Liaison Office provides advice on the writing of funding proposals and contract negotiations. In addition, central facilities such as the workshops and the Management Facility, the Otto Hahn library, the IT & Electronics Service and the MediaService provides support for all institute members for the organization of day-to-day life. Since 2005, the institute offers childcare directly on the campus. Some 30 children between one and four years of age are professionally cared for – all day long.
