I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. from National Taiwan University. My interest is in the developmental biology of various invertebrate species. In my master thesis, I studied the embryonic development of the leech and focused on the molecular mechanism that coordinates the cell migration during gastrulation. After obtaining the master’s degree, I worked as a research assistant at Academia Sinica. I analyzed the enhancer sequences of the sea urchin so as to understand the deuterostome evolution. In the Rink department, I will take the comparative strategy to understand why different planarian species have different growth and degrowth rates.
