The Horizons in Molecular Biology is organized by PhD students of the MSc/PhD Molecular Biology Program - International Max Planck Research School at the University of Göttingen.

The aim of the conference is to bring together senior scientists and young researchers from different fields to promote scientific exchange and to provide exciting insights into the frontiers of Molecular Biology.

Leading researchers as well as representatives of well-renowned life science companies and organizations are giving talks and sharing their experiences in the life sciences. This year's keynote speaker will be Michael Rosbash, Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2017.

The Horizons also offers a Career Fair. Students can familiarize themselves with key skills required for working in different scientific environments through presentations, workshops and talks offered by the companies representatives, science journalists and researchers.
