Open Positions

We offer laboratory rotations, bachelor's and master's thesis research projects, and PhD positions. Our projects focus on the mechanistic understanding of molecular machines driving membrane trafficking. We employ both wet lab and computational techniques.

Wet lab:

- Molecular cloning

- Protein purification

- On membrane reconstitution and binding assays

- Sample preparation for cryo-EM

Computational methods:

- Cryo-EM and cryo-ET data analysis in a Linux environment (IMOD, subTOM, Dynamo, Relion etc.)

- Scripting in bash, python and Matlab

- Protein structure and interaction prediction with AI tools (AlphaFold2)
